Any person interested in holding a Head Coach Position with Dauphin Minor Hockey (DMH) must fully complete the following application by the deadline stated. The information provided will be used by the DMH Executive in selecting team staff for the 2026/2027 season. All positions will be subject to board approval.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • serving as an official spokesperson on behalf of the team
  • coordinating the delegation of responsibilities to the assistant coach and team manager
  • planning on and off-ice activities in consultation with the assistant coaches
  • planning, implementing and controlling pre-game preparation and communication with the team
  • designing the practice plans in consultation with the assistant coaches
  • coaching the team in all games and practices
  • establishing rules for the team and oversee the supervision of the players
  • report to Dauphin Minor Hockey

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Must be asked by a Head Coach & Apply Together
  • serving as the liason between parents and coaching staff
  • coordinating team logistics
  • jersey hand out
  • getting volunteers for home games
  • help in booking games/hotels etc.
  • assisting in team communication (updating website)
  • preparing team financial report and submitting to DMH
  • reporting to coaches
  • filing game sheets where applicable
  • must be a team player
