Dauphin Minor Hockey Supports Orange Jersey Project

Dauphin Minor Hockey is proud to be a part of Orange Jersey Project by using the power of sport to strengthen the path toward truth and reconciliation.  DMH is also proud to cheer on and support many former players whom now play for the DRCSS Clippers!

‍Orange Jersey Project was born out of an idea. “What if we could use the power of sport to serve as a vehicle toward educating today’s young athletes. Orange Jersey Project is designed to encourage action for truth and reconciliation and can help educate athletes about the true history of the Indian Residential school system in Canada. Orange Jersey Project works to create awareness of the intergenerational impacts of Indian Residential Schools and strengthen the path toward truth and reconciliation with Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Peoples. 

On Friday, November 10th, 2023 the DRCSS Clippers will host their first annual Every Child Matters Hockey Night.  All DMH registered players will recieve an orange jersey, this week, which we encourage them to wear on cheer on the Clippers on Friday!  The pre-game ceremonies start at 7:20 p.m., and puck drop takes place at 7:30 p.m.
